How to Make Malvani Kolambi Masala

Prepare Malvani Kolambi Masala

  • Step 1

    Heat oil in a pan and add cinnamon, cardamom, cloves, red chillies, coriander seeds, fennel seeds and fenugreek seeds. Sauté till fragrant.

  • Step 2

    Add the onion and grated coconut and fry. Put everything in a grinder to make a paste.

  • Step 3

    Heat oil in pan, add minced garlic, turmeric powder and ground mixture.

  • Step 4

    Let it boil, add shrimp, coconut milk, tamarind, salt and garam masala powder.

  • Step 5

    Cook for 5-6 minutes.

  • Serving Suggestions:

    Serve hot.
