How to Make Malavani Handi

Prepare Malavani Handi

  • Step 1

    Heat pan and roast black and green cardamom, cloves, dried chillies, coriander seeds, and cumin seeds.

  • Step 2

    Add sliced onions, stone flower, cinnamon, and sauté for 6-8 minutes.

  • Step 3

    Add ginger garlic paste, dried coconut, tomato, turmeric and salt.

  • Step 4

    Grind the whole mixture in a smooth paste and transfer it to the heated pan.

  • Step 5

    Add star anise and curry leaves, and saute the mixture.

  • Step 6

    Add half a cup of water to the mixture and cook it for 3-4 minutes.

  • Step 7

    Add cottage cheese cubes, pour in the coconut milk and mix well.

  • Serving Suggestions:

    Sprinkle coriander on it and serve hot.
