    200 g

How to Make Salted Caramel Fudge

Prepare Salted Caramel Fudge

  • Step 1

    For Fudge

    • a. For the fudge, mix 200 g of NESTLÉ® MILKMAID® Sweetened Condensed Milk, 100ml of edible coconut oil, peanut butter, honey, 5 ml of vanilla essence and unsweetened cocoa powder using a hand blender or a whisk.
    • b. Pour mixture into a small container 6”x9” lined with parchment paper. Spread into an even layer and chill for 4-5 hours or overnight.
  • Step 2

    For Caramel Sauce

    • a. While the fudge sets, prepare the caramel sauce. In a large sauce pan with a thick bottom, combine milk, maple/pancake syrup and salt.
    • b. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat and simmer for 10-15 minutes stirring occasionally.
    • c. Add coconut oil and cook until it reaches a deep caramel colour. Remove from heat and add the vanilla and pour the caramel sauce into a bowl. Once it has cooled slightly, stir vigorously until it is smooth and glossy.
  • Step 3

    For Salted Caramel Fudge

    • a. For finishing, pour the cooled sauce on the fudge and spread to cover evenly. Sprinkle with coarse sea salt and cut into desired squares.
