Step 1
Preparation of Dulce
- a. In a saucepan, simmer the unopened can of NESTLÉ® MILKMAID® Sweetened Condensed Milk in water for 2.5 Hours to make caramel. Allow it to cool before opening.

Step 2
Preparation of Banoffee Pie
- a. In a mixing bowl, combine cookie crumbs with melted butter. Press the mixture into a pie dish to from the crust. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 90 minutes.
- b. Spread the prepared Dulce de leche over the chilled crust.
- c. Cook banana slices in sugar and butter caramel, then set aside to cool. Arrange banana slices on top of the caramel layer.
- d. In another mixing bowl, whip the cream with vanilla extract until soft peaks form.
- e. Spread the whipped cream over the banana layer.
Garnish with chocolate shavings. Chill the pie in the refrigerator for a few hours before serving.
